A 2-in-1 cordless pruner: the motor does the cutting, you press the trigger with one finger, and it cuts fresh branches up to 5.5 cm. It weighs 1 kg in the hand with its battery and 1.5 kg on the aluminium pole, which extends to 3 m and lets you work up to about 5 m above the ground without a ladder. It clicks onto the pole and comes off again in seconds for roses and hedges; the head turns up to 180° and the blade opening has four settings. Two 4.0 Ah batteries give up to 12 hours of work, each charges in about 45 minutes, and the battery mount is compatible with Makita 18 V batteries. Everything comes in a 13-piece case, including two spare blades, a whetstone, gloves, goggles and a padded shoulder strap.
