Cookie notice
Every item this site puts in your browser, named, with what it is for and how long it lasts — and how to give a different answer.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
01In one paragraph
The site needs a handful of entries to work: the answer you gave on the cookie card, and on the pages for your country the order you have just sent. Nothing for advertising loads until you say so. On your first visit a card called Quick cookie choice opens at the side of the page, with three buttons of equal weight: Yes, all, Just the basics and Let me choose. Your answer is remembered for 12 months and then asked again; the Change cookie choice control at the foot of every page brings the card back sooner.
02Cookies, and the things that are not quite cookies
A cookie is a small text file a site saves on your phone, tablet or computer and reads back on the next page. Browsers also offer local storage, which holds a value on the device without sending it along with every request. This site uses more of the second than the first, and the notice covers both; where an entry is local storage rather than a cookie, it says so.
There are three groups below. Only the first is set without asking you.
031 · Strictly necessary — always on
Without these the site cannot do what you asked it to do, so consent does not come into it. All of them are read only by this site.
vns_ck_pref— local storage. Holds your answer to the cookie card (advertising yes or no) and the moment you gave it, so the card is not shown on every page. Lifetime: 12 months, after which the card returns.vns_lead_…— local storage, on the order pages for each country. Carries the name, phone number and address you have just sent from the order form to the thank-you page, so that page can show you the number the confirmation call will come to. Lifetime: until you order the same product again or clear site data.vns_lead_lock_…— local storage. Holds the last seven digits of the phone number and the times the form was sent with it, so the same number cannot place a third order for the same product within 24 hours. Lifetime: until site data is cleared; sends older than 24 hours are ignored.vns_sent_…— local storage. Marks that an order has already gone from this browser, so that a double tap does not become two parcels. Lifetime: until site data is cleared.vns_conv_…— local storage, value1. Marks that the Lead event of an order has already been counted, so a refresh of the thank-you page cannot count it twice. It holds nothing about you. Lifetime: until site data is cleared.- The form security token — not stored at all. It is fetched when an order or contact form opens, kept in the page's memory for 15 minutes and lost when you close the tab. It proves the form was sent from our own pages and blocks forged ones.
042 · Statistics — nothing
Nothing is set for statistics. This shop runs no analytics product: no visitor statistics tool, no heatmaps, no session recording, no testing tool.
053 · Advertising — only if you say yes
Say Yes, all, or switch advertising on under Let me choose, and the Meta pixel below loads. It tells us whether a visit came from one of our adverts on Facebook or Instagram and whether it ended in an order. Choose Just the basics and it never loads: no advertising cookie is written, and the shop works in exactly the same way.
Meta pixel
- What it sends
- A PageView for each page you open; a Lead event once per order, from the thank-you page of a country offer, with the value and currency of the order and the product name.
- Cookies it writes
_fbpon this domain, plus Meta's own cookies, such asfr, on facebook.com.- Lifetime
_fbp90 days;fr90 days; Meta's other cookies as Meta sets them.- Provider
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Dublin — privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy
For collecting and transmitting this data, Venistra Trading Ltd and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers; what Meta does with it afterwards is under Meta's own responsibility. The privacy notice has the detail.
The advertising accounts the pixel reports to are in the name of Venistra Trading Ltd, which pays for them and answers for them.
06Changing your mind
Change cookie choice, at the foot of every page, brings the card back wherever you are. Answer again and the new answer replaces the old one from that moment on.
Your answer lives in local storage under vns_ck_pref, with advertising set to yes or no and the moment you chose. After 12 months it expires by itself and the card comes back, so consent is never assumed to last for ever.
You can also delete the entry, or clear the site data for this website in your browser. Withdrawing consent stops any further collection; it cannot reach back and undo what was collected while it was given.
07Controls that are not ours
Your browser can block or clear cookies whatever this site says:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
Blocking the strictly necessary entries will break things: the order form will not send and the thank-you page will have nothing to show.
To deal with Meta directly rather than with us, use the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
