Terms of sale

When you order from this website, you buy from Venistra Trading Ltd, registered office London, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). We buy the goods ourselves and own the stock: we sell them, ship them, collect the payment on delivery and deal with returns and the guarantee. We built this website and run it, and we run the advertising on Facebook and Instagram that may have brought you here.

These terms apply to every order placed on the pages for your country. Please read the parts on delivery, withdrawal and the guarantee before you order.

Sending the order form on the page for your country is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we accept it on the confirmation call, in which the product, the address and the sum are read back to you.

If we cannot reach you, the order is not shipped. We may turn an order down — and will tell you — if the item has run out, if the price shown was plainly a mistake, or if the order looks fraudulent.

The pages for each country show the price in the local currency — złoty in Poland, koruna in Czechia, forint in Hungary, euro in the other countries — and that price includes VAT where it applies. The English pages of the shop show prices in euro.

Delivery is free. There is no delivery charge on any order, in any of the ten countries, and no minimum spend. The price on the offer page is the sum the courier collects.

We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one confirmed on the call.

There is one way to pay: cash to the courier when the parcel is handed to you. The site takes no card and asks for no card or bank details to place an order; nothing is due before the goods are in your hands. The detail is on payment.

Once the order is confirmed on the phone, we hand the parcel to the courier or postal operator within 1 to 2 working days, and it travels 3 to 7 working days more. These are estimates drawn from how the routes normally run, not guaranteed dates. The tracking details come from us, on the confirmation call or whenever you ask — see track your order.

We deliver to Poland, Czechia, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia and Spain, and nowhere else.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If a parcel goes missing, tell us: we trace it, send it again or refund it — you choose.

You have 14 days from the day the goods reach you to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. That is the right EU consumer law gives you; how to use it, the model form and the refund deadline are on the right of withdrawal page.

The practical side of sending something back — the condition of the goods, the return postage (yours, unless the item is faulty or wrong), and how a refund of a cash payment reaches you — is on the guarantee and returns page.

Every item carries the legal guarantee of conformity for 24 months from delivery (3 years in Spain), handled by us: repair, replacement or refund, as the law provides. It does not cover misuse or ordinary wear of parts that wear by nature. To claim, send team@venistra.com the order number and photos.

Read the manual before first use. Machines with blades or chains — chainsaws, pruners, brush cutters — are used with the protective equipment the manual names, and kept away from children. No guarantee covers the result of careless handling.

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses where you bought as a consumer, or for misuse of a product.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Send any complaint to team@venistra.com; we answer within 2 working days. If our answer does not resolve it, you can turn to an out-of-court dispute resolution body in your own country.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, where we are established.

This does not take anything away from you: as a consumer living in the European Union you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings before the courts there.
