Battery pruning shears whose brushless motor closes the blade: you press the trigger with one finger and green branches up to 5 cm come down in one cut, with two opening widths (2.5 and 5 cm). Clipped onto the aluminium pole, which extends from 1.6 to 2.8 m and locks with two levers, they reach about 4.5 m from the ground; on the pole the battery moves down into the grip and the head tilts up to 120°. Unclipped in about 10 seconds, they are one-hand shears for roses and low hedges, weighing 900 g with the compact battery. Two 21 V batteries give about 1,200 cuts per charge and up to 8 hours of work in all, and a display shows the charge and counts the cuts.
